More Kimono Kids

Here are some more kimono kid cards, (and I still have some more coloured images to make into cards). I cased the tight rope idea off a lady on split coast stampers - thank you - I think it's a novel way of using the stamp and very cute. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up my kimono kid on the 'tight rope' otherwise I think she would have fallen off!
On the first card I used the left overs from cutting a sizzix scallop circle as a frame. I used the versa mark ink to stamp the fan on the background card I used real red and basic black card stock again as I love this combination.
On the second card I stamped the images on the scallop circle and used some brights DSP on the background.

  1. Hi Anne-Marie! Thank you for finding me in blog land, it was lovely to meet you too yesterday, and I'm very impressed with how far you came! I hope you'll be able to come to the next one?

Thanks for your kind words - I loved your swaps too, artistic etchings is one of my favourite sets, and its fantastic to see it being used with such lovely rich colours. My husband has also offered to help me out by drinking lots of beer so I can have a go at your can magnets - I think he might have an alterior motive there!

I'm super impressed by your Kimono Kids cards - I don't have this set, however you use it so well here that I think I might have to invest and have a go with it! Your designs are lovely.

Hope to see you again soon!
