Open Sea #2

Here are the other two cards I made using the Open Sea stamp set.  Again I used the Label collection framelits and cut an aperture out of the card front, the card was folded long ways/tent fold so this was easy to do.
For the next card I used the label that I cut out of the first card.  As you can see I also put the stamp-a-ma-jig to good use lining up the ledger stamp image.
:
I made a holder to put all the cards in, I'll show you that tomorrow.

Open Sea

Just realised I haven't posted a collection of cards I made using Stampin' Up! Open Sea stamp set.  I love this set and it's brilliant for men cards. I used Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake colour scheme. I had a plaly around with apertures using the label collection framelits. Here is the first card, for this one I made a frame:
For the second card I used the framelilt to cut out a window from the crumb cake layer, The sentiments are from the itty bitty banner set, I love this because it has matching framelits.
Have you got over the shock of actually seeing cards on my blog instead of updates! I will show you the other cards tomorrow.

Sail Away Diorama Card

At class yesterday we made some cards for men and boys, I don't know about you but I find these a lot harder to do than those for ladies. The first card I will show you is another diorama card, told you I love making these, they are so easy to do but look really difficult!

As you can see we made this as a fathers day card but you could use any sentiment.
Recipe

Diorama Card and frame using Labels Framelits

This is a quick post on this Jubillee Weekend to show you a little card I made for someone moving home.  I love making these diorama cards and they are quick and easy to do once you know how. Here is a great video by the lovely Sally Jo that shows you how to make them.

The colour scheme is bashful blue, pretty in pink and so saffron.  I used the bird punch again and the boho blossoms punch for the flowers. I used the simply scored tool to make the lines.
The little frame is easy to make using the new label framelits from Stampin Up.
Just line one framelit inside the other and run through your big shot on tab 2, you can use a post-it-note to stop it moving around.

I love these framelits and I think you will be seeing a lot of them!
