Dress Up cards and Stationery Box #4!

The last of the Dress Up cards, promise! Here are the last two note cards:

 All the cards together:

 My open stationery box:
I think this set makes a lovely gift and I really enjoyed making it, I am sure I will make some more using different papers and stamp sets. There wasn't that much stamping on these.
I am busy playing with some new products from the brand new Annual Catalogue which is live on the 2nd of July. A benefit of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is getting to play with things before anyone else has a chance to see it! If you are interested in becoming a demonstrator or finding out more just send me  an email - have a look here.

Dress Up cards #3

More Dress Up cards, this time they are little 3" x 3" cards, great for quick notes and thank you's. I have kept them simple as there is only a little space to fill, again it is the Tea for Two DSP and island indigo/crumb cake card.

I love the Dress Up framelits, you can make them into different style clothes, wedding gowns, tutu's etc. Lots of fun to play with!

Dress Up cards #2

Here are the other two A6 cards that I made for my stationery box. These two are very girly and are quick to make. Lots of products from the seasonal mini, flower trim (I love the fact that you can just cut the individual flowers) and tea for two DSP.

Stampin' Up! Dress Up cards

Here are a couple of cards I made to go in the stationery box I showed you yesterday. I used the Tea for Two DSP, Dress Up framelits and flower trim from the seasonal catalogue. The card is Island Indigo, I also used an itty bitty punch and the scallop ribbon border punch.

I used the dress stand cut from the first card on my next card:

Tea for Two Stationery Box

Hi, it's been over a week since I last posted, hopefully I am back on track. As the spring/summer seasonal catalogue will be ending at the end of June I thought I would share a set I made using the gorgeous Tea for Two DSP and the Dress Up Framelits. It's a stationery box based on a tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers, I adapted it to fit UK envelope/card sizes which are a bit different from US. It would make a lovely gift.
Here is my box:
Take off the lid and it unfolds, there is one large pocket that easily hold four cards and envelopes and two smaller pockets that will hold two 3" x 3" note cards and envelopes, or tags. The splitcoast  stampers tutorial uses DSP to make the box but I wanted it a bit more sturdy so I used some crumb cake card stock and decorated it with Tea for Two DSP.
On the fold down flap I stuck a little notebook that I decorated using DSP and the Dress Up framelits, the envelope is made using the scallop envelop die, sadly retiring. I have put some sentiments inside that I made using the itty bitty banners stamp set and framelits as I thought it would be nice for the recipient to choose which, if any sentiment they would like to use.
If you would like to purchase anything from the seasonal catalogue or the retirement list just contact me. I will show you the cards I made to go inside over the next few days.

Double Pocket Fancy Fold card

The last of my fancy fold cards a double pocket card. I have seen this card made out of DSP put I made mine out of certainly celery card as I have lots to use up before it retires then decorated with DSP from the Brights Paper Stack, (which is also retiring as we are having a colour refresh and will be getting new ones). I used the Itty Bitty and Pursuit of Happiness stamp sets, two tag die, paper daisies and melon mambo scalloped ribbon, all retiring.
 The inside of the card
I made the two tags into bookmarks, the smaller one is actually doubled up and has magnetic strip inside.  Just fold your card in half and put the fold line below the top cutting edge, other wise you will end up with two tags!.
Mu colour scheme is melon mambo, tempting turquoise, pumpkin pie and certainly celery.  Here is the front of the card without the tags in.  Barbara suggested it would make a great card for a bookworm as you could have the book mark in one pocket and put a gift card holder with a book token in the other pocket.
Take a look at the retiring lists and let me know if you fancy anything as things are going quickly.

Tea Shoppe Easel Card

Some more retiring products to show you today.  I made an easel card using the scallop square die, punch and Tea Shoppe Stamp set.  The colour scheme is certainly celery and riding hood red, not a combination I would usually put together but I like it. I also used the simply scored borders plate (not retiring!) if you look carefully.
Here is my card:
Side view so you can see the easel.

Nature Walk Joy Fold

I have been making the most of some stamp sets before they retire. Today's stamp set is Nature Walk and I thought I would make a joy fold card. Lots of stamping on this card as I made my own 'background', the colour scheme is Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze which are also retiring. I will really miss Baja Breeze.  Here's my card flat, I coloured the bird in using inkpads and aqua painter:
The front section is tucked behind the oval, if you slip the corner out it opens up:
Hope you like it, I have another fancy fold to show you tomorrow.

Open Sea #3

I made a card holder to put my four Open Sea cards in, again following the Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake colour scheme.
Here is the inside of the card holder:

All four of the cards that go in it, makes a nice little gift for a friend.  Fortunately I have a brother in the merchant navy and also know lots of sea cadets so Sea inspired cards always come in useful for me!

Open Sea #2

Here are the other two cards I made using the Open Sea stamp set.  Again I used the Label collection framelits and cut an aperture out of the card front, the card was folded long ways/tent fold so this was easy to do.
For the next card I used the label that I cut out of the first card.  As you can see I also put the stamp-a-ma-jig to good use lining up the ledger stamp image.
:
I made a holder to put all the cards in, I'll show you that tomorrow.

Open Sea

Just realised I haven't posted a collection of cards I made using Stampin' Up! Open Sea stamp set.  I love this set and it's brilliant for men cards. I used Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake colour scheme. I had a plaly around with apertures using the label collection framelits. Here is the first card, for this one I made a frame:
For the second card I used the framelilt to cut out a window from the crumb cake layer, The sentiments are from the itty bitty banner set, I love this because it has matching framelits.
Have you got over the shock of actually seeing cards on my blog instead of updates! I will show you the other cards tomorrow.
