Here are another two cards I made using Joyous Celebrations. For the first one I used the new core-dinations card in cherry cobbler. I embossed it using the Holiday Frame embossing folder then used the sanding block to sand off the top of the design, then mop up the dust using the dust buddy.
This is such a quick and easy Christmas card to make. You can't really see on the picture but there is a strip of lucky limeade punched dotted scallop ribbon at the bottom, (now say that quick!).
For the next card I used the oval frame embossing folder, this time I added some early expresso card stock.

Book Card
This is something I made for my simply scored inspiration station which I don't think I have shown you yet, apologies if I have. It is a card that looks like a book, with concertina sides, which is easy with the simply scored, although I got rather sticky gluing them all together.
It uses the Attic Boutique DSP which is gorgeous so you don't need much stamping. Open it up and this is what you get:
It's very arty farty (a technical term) but I enjoyed making it, although not sure what I'm going to do with it!
Recipe
Card stock/Paper: very Vanilla, Attic Boutique DSP, Daffodil Yellow, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Poppy Red
Stamp Set: Forever Young
Punches: Bird Builder, fun flower, 1" circle, Lace Ribbon, Boho Blossom and extra large Oval
Accessories: Big Shot, Simply Scored Tool, designer frame embossing folder, beautiful wings embosslit.
Victoria Crochet Trim, Basic Pearls, Rhinestone gem

Attic Boutique Cards and a little stitching!
Today I will show you the other cards I made to go in the handbag I showed you yesterday . I used the other side of the DSP and they have a totally different look. The colour way is poppy red and crumb cake and I actually did a bit of stitching using white bakers twine to go with the corsets!
I used the dotted scallop ribbon border punch and sewed cross stitches using baker twine. I love this punch, I think it must be my favourite border punch. Again I used Beautiful Wings embosslit and the Oval All stamp set.
The second card is a gate fold, which is really easy to make using the metric plate on the simply scored because it gives you the 5.25cm score line. I used the Forever Young Stamp set and Designer Frame Embossing Folder.
It's stamped inside as well with the frame and silhouettes images but I forgot to photograph it.

Berry Blossoms Cup Cakes
Some more projects we made in our spring mini class. We made a calorie free Stampin' Up cupcake card. I like the combination with the berry blossom dsp, bright and summery, it is also FREE with a £45 order thi april! The colour way is calypso coral and wisteria wonder.
Again I used the designer frame embossing folder, this time I cut it out to give it a cleaner look. If I do a post with my favourite things I think this folder and the dotted scallop border ribbon punch will definitely be on it!
We also made a matching top note box, this time I used the five petal flower punch and boho blossom punch to decorate the top.

Training Swaps
I was lucky enough to attend Julie's Jems team training yesterday even though I'm not a Jem, so thank you Julie I had a great day. When ever Stampin' Up demonstrators get together we always do a swap, swapping card fronts and 3-d items. So we come away with some great ideas and lovely samples of stamp sets and papers that we may not have yet so we can show our customers.
These are the swaps I made using the Polar Party stamp set and designer frames textured embossing folders, these are in our new catalogue and I love them.
I made it in two different colour ways, night of navy/pool party with white embossing powder and olive gree/real red with gold embossing powder.
I cut three sides of the embossing folder to make a little door, open it up and there's a little surprise, (isn't that ruffled ribbon gorgeous)!
Here's the other colour combo, I cut the frame a different way so we could have some penguins.
