Milk Carton Houses

I have just uploaded some photo's from my camera and found a few Christmas projects I haven't shown you yet. The first is some little houses I made using the milk carton die, I filled them with chocolate and hung them on the tree. They are not my own idea but based on a swap I saw (but wasn't given so can't tell you who made it) at convention.
Here they are:
The Christmas trees were made using the pennant party stamp set and matching punch. I did have a few more photo's but they are too blurry to show you,
I don't usually show family photo's but I thought you might like to see one of Jessica when she went to see Father Christmas at the  Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum at Skinningrove, we had a lovely morning and it's worth going to see if you are in the area. Father Christmas said it was okay for us to take a photo so here she is:

Manhattan Rose and Mini Milk Carton Die Bird House

Well I hope you are all looking forward to  a lovely Jubillee Weekend.   Here are the other projects we made at the last class.  The first one is a card we made using the Manhattan Rose embossing folder, it is a very simple card but I think it would be good for a lot of occassions. Once you have embossed your flower on whisper white turn it over and use a brayer to ink over it then cut out.  We did this with pink pirouette ink although I have used two colours in the past and that looks really nice.

Then we made a little birdhouse using the mini milk carton die and bird punch. I used the nursery nest DSPon the roof.

Mixed Blossom and Milk Carton Die

Yesterday we labelled  the Mixed Blossom stamp set today I will show you a couple of projects we made with it at class on Wednesday. The first is a card, I used a colour combination of rich razzleberry, not quite navy and river rock, haven't used this combo before but I like it. The background is rich razzleberry ran through the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

The second project was a milk carton, this is so easy to make with the mini milk carton die.  To make the butterfly just trim off a petal at the top and bottom. This time I used rich razzleberry DSP and embossed it using the vintage wall paper folder.
