Sail Away Diorama Card

At class yesterday we made some cards for men and boys, I don't know about you but I find these a lot harder to do than those for ladies. The first card I will show you is another diorama card, told you I love making these, they are so easy to do but look really difficult!

As you can see we made this as a fathers day card but you could use any sentiment.

Sail Away Thank You

I can't believe it has been so long since I posted, sorry, time goes so quickly.  My daughter had a great week with the sea cadets at HMS Raleigh and I thought sail away would be the ideal stamp to make a thank you card with.
This is the card I made to thank Chief, PO and APO for all their hard work. I love the sail away stamp so I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of it! I used baja breeze, crumb cake and early expresso and the latice square embossing folder to add a bit of texture. I stamped the sails again and cut out and attached to add some movement but you can't tell from the photo.

The verse comes from the occasional quotes hostess set and I thought it was very apt as all the sea cadet staff work so hard through out the year giving the cadets great opportunities and experiences, like the Raleigh Trip and they do this voluntary.
