When I first saw the All Dressed Up stamp sets and matching framelits in the Spring catalogue I didn't really take much notice of them, I think it was because they were with a pop up die that's a bit beyond my price range at the moment. However, I started to see a lot of projects made with this set and realised (duh) you didn't need the pop up die to use them! So I bought it and I LOVE it!!! I have had a little play, here's the first card I made, the background stamp is Hello Doily which I also love! Colour scheme is crumb cake and very vanilla, and some retired DSP.

Take a note...
I thought I would show you the new note book I covered, I do have one that I write all my the instruction/measurements in when I make cards or albums but I wanted something a bit more informal. This is my covered kraft note book (got it from sainsbury's, bought the shelf out as they were half price and I love em!).Here's my book, there are a few marks on it already as I forgot to take a photo when I first made it.
I used the 2011-13 in colours as my colour scheme, the alphabet stamps are Morning Post, the owl is made out of circle punches as I wanted it bigger than the owl punch. I made a pocket on the inside cover:
As I said, I wanted something informal where I could make a mess, go wrong, jot down ideas, inspiration, things to do etc and a bit of a diary. Here is the first page:
Another page and sneak peak of a technique we will probably do in class;
The last page!
There are a lot more pages to fill in between but don't worry I won't keep showing you them. I really enjoyed making this book and have you noticed how the paper goes all the way to the end of the cover and doesn't stop at the ring binding? I will show you how I did this another time.....

Two Tags Die Mini Album
I thought I would join in yet another challenge, they are a great way of trying out new things. Todays challenge is from The Paper Players
My youngest daughter Jessica is putting together a memory tin and asked me to make her something to go inside, so I thought I would use the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe challenge and chose Pink and green (not a colour combo I usually use), Tag and Spring. I thought I would make a tag to go on the front of a little mini album but I ended up making the tag into a little mini!
I used the largest tag from the the Two Tags Die. The front and back covers are tags and it opens up into a little accordion album. Stamp sets are Best of Everything, Itty Bitty and Morning Post Alphabet.

I had a little mishap, there was a ribbon tie and that I had stuck behind the front tag I thought I might stamp on. I had a practise on some spare ribbon, unfortunately it wasn't spare, it was attached to the album so I had to cut it off, (oops!). I made a little belly band instead!
Jess likes her little album and I hope you do too,

Punch Art Sympathy
The last of the punch art for now, promise. It can be hard to make a sympathy card but I thought the card I showed you on Sunday would be ideal. This time the colour scheme is crumb cake and I used the tulip frame embossing folder, (remember this is cased from here). I love the tulip embossing folder, it is so easy to alter the size of the frame, you can find a tutorial here.
This is my card

Hello Doily
I seem to have the challenge bug. This time I have combined two challenges:
- The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge
- Inkspirational Sketch Challenge
I used the Hello Doily and butterfly (can't spell the correct name!) set and the sentiment is from itty bitty banners. Here is my card, I love the colour combo:.

Three Challenges in one card!
Two blog posts in one day, it must be Easter! Last night I went over to my friend Val's to play, (oops, I mean to have a creative crafting session). I wrote down a few challenges for inspiration and we had a go. My card combines three challenges:
- the colour throwdown 235, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petal, Chocolate Chip and White.
- Freshly made Sketches
- Less is More - Scallops
I must say I did find it a challenge, I would normally have teamed that colour selection with very vanilla rather than white and the card needed to be clean and simple, (put the sponge daubers away Anne-Marie!) but after a lot of dithering here is my card:
The stamp set I used was Tea Shoppe. I inked the cup stamp using raspberry ripple and chocolate chip, (doesn't that sound yummy), markers then spritzed with water and stamped onto primrose petal card, then fussy cut it out. Two lots of flowers are stamped directly onto the card and the third one was cut out. I did some faux stitching with the raspberry ripple marker and white gel pen to frame the image a bit more. The scallop trim was made using one of my favourite punches the dotted scallop ribbon border punch.Easter Punch Art Card #3
Happy Easter. Here is a more traditional Easter Card which I have cased from this ladies lovely blog here.
The cross is made from the modern label punch. The background is stamped with the flowers from the elementary elegance stamp set using pink pirouette ink, again I used Teenie tiny wishes for the sentiment, the flowers are from the boho blossoms punch.
