I am really excited because we have a brand new catalogue coming out on Saturday! As a demonstrator I get catalogues early and am able to purchase a few new sneak peek items, how lucky am I? Still can't wait till saturday when I can order anything I want out the catalogue though, my wish list is getting longer every day.
One of the stamp sets I purchased was forever young, which I love, here is an envelope album, (my new catalogue resolution is to post some tutorials and I will put one up for the envelope album) I made using this set and the new ribbon lace punch.
I also used one of the five new in colours, island indigo. I used broadsheet alphabet and my faithful stamp-a-ma-jig to make the photo's label. I love the new lace ribbon punch it is so versatile, you can thread ribbon or thin card/aper through, cut the flowers out, the one inch circle punch fits great behind it if you want to highlight a different colour or fits on top of it as I have done in this album.
Bye for now, but keep checking my blog for more info about the new catalogue and our new hostess package which is fantastic.

Sweetheart journal pages
Here's some more journal pages, well I did say I did 50! This time I used the sweetheart stamp set and the flower for you stamp which I think goes reaaly well with this set. These are very girly pages and would look great adapted for a girls card. I used the polka dot embossing folder to add some texture.
Have you spotted the punched flowers on the last page? These are cut from our new lace ribbon punch which is beautiful and comes out in October so this is a little sneak peek.
The next two pages aren't so girly I used the colour scheme of baja breeze and crumb cake and again the embossing folder for texture. I didn't want to add too many embelishments as I didn't want the book to get too bulky so the embossing folders were great to use.

Strength and Hope Journal Pages
Hello again
Yet more journal pages, this time using the strength and hope charity stamp set from the mini, again this will be retiring at the end of the month. I know I am posting a lot of journal pages at the moment but you can adapt them to card or scrap book pages so hopefully they will give you some ideas on how to use the stamp sets.
I used the stamp-a-ma-jig a lot for these pages, I think this has to be one of my most used tools as it's so great for lining the stamp up.

Simply Said Journal pages
Here are some more journal pages, these ones use the simply said stamp set which is retiring at the end of the month. Again I used a mask, this time with some post it notes and stamped on the page, when you take the notes off you have space to write.
The butterflies are made with the butterfly embosslit.
Some more pages using this set, sorry these are photo heavy posts!

Journal Album
One of the reasons I haven't posted lately is that I have been busy making a journal album. This was comissioned by a colleague for her Mum's 82 birthday, she wanted an album that friends and family could write in. It started off as 15 pages, (30 sides) but increased to 25 pages, (50 sides!), quite a challange as all the pages were different.
This is what I came up with, don't worry I won't post 50 pages, I used some spring vintage dsp to cover the front and back pages then mainly used this colour theme throughout the album. So even though I used a few different stamp sets it was brought together with the same colour theme.
I hope you like these pages I shall post some more using other sets.

I used the baby blossom set, sadly retiring as is the springtime vintage dsp. For the page above I made a little card using a top note die, fastened with some seam binding ribbon so her Mum can open it and find the message in side. The followinf 2 pages also used the baby blossom set, I used a heart cut out of scrap paper as a mask for the first page.
I hope you like these pages I shall post some more using other sets.

Christmas baskets
I know, Christmas gets earlier each year but I just love making Christmas things! Here are some scallop circle baskets I made, like the easter ones but I made them christmassy, (is that the right spelling?).
I used Dasher, he is lovely and a single stamp so not expensive, the sentiment is from contempo christmas.
I used chocolate chip and olive green which may seem a strange combination but I think it goes well together.
Sorry about the quality of the photos I took them at night and was a bit tierd.

Season of Joy top note boxes
Hi All
Sorry for the lack of posts, life goes too quick. I have been busy making little top note boxes, great to present little gifts. I used the Season of Joy stamp set which I love because it is so versatile.
Here's a few I made, (I made 20 altogether!).
I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the stamp so I made a whole sheet of A4 with sthe season of Joy word stamp. Such a great little tool, there is no way I would have been able to do it without it. If you would like to know how to make these boxes or use the stamp a ma jig why not book a party or class with me.
